2016 Thermaltake CaseMOD Invitational Season 1 Eleven World Top Modders Compete to Reinvent the Core P5
Taipei, Taiwan-February 26th , 2016-Thermaltake, an industry leader in computer chassis, thermal solutions, and power supply units, has unfurled the biggest international modding event of the year, the 2016 Thermaltake CaseMOD Invitational Season 1, which takes place in the Tt Community on March 1st , and features eleven of the world’s top case modders from the United Kingdom, Germany, Vietnam, Australia, Italy, China, Japan, France, Belgium, the Netherlands, and the United States. Contestants will use Thermaltake Tt LCS certified liquid cooling components and the Toughpower DPS G RGB 1250W Titanium smart power supply to transform the Thermaltake Core P5 open-frame ATX Wall-Mount chassis into a brand new creation!
From May 11st until May 25th, everyone is welcome to vote for their favorite modders and have the opportunity to win incredible prizes from Thermaltake and our sponsors, including premium partner Newegg and others like TT Premium, Tt eSPORTS, LUXA2, Intel, ASUS, Samsung, and AVEXIR. Thermaltake is holding two worldwide CaseMOD events in the first half of 2016: 2016 Thermaltake CaseMOD Invitational Season 1 and the Thermaltake 2016 MFC (Modding Fighting Championship).
For the Thermaltake 2016 MFC, Thermaltake invites two champions to battle for the best – Suchao Prowphong from Thailand, who was winner of the 2015 Thermaltake CaseMOD Invitational Season 1, and Jesse Palacio from the Philippines, winner of the 2015 Thermaltake CaseMOD Invitational Season 2.

Come register on Tt Community and vote for the coolest MOD! The winner’s completed prototype will be sent to the 2016 Computex Taipei for display at the Thermaltake booth (Booth no. M110). Thermaltake offers up to $15,000USD cash prizes in total for the top 3 winners and more than $10,000 USD in value of hardware prizes up for grabs. Contest begins on March 1st, 2016.

Meet the Modders
Adam Braithwaite from the United Kingdom, who mods as “Darwin PC”, is a long time case mod enthusiast with plenty of modding experience.

Ali Abbas from Germany, also known as Alan Lee or Abbas-IT on Bit-Tech.net and other forums, guarantees 100% handmade creations without using any CNC, laser cuts, or 3D printing. He has built 30 case mods up to present, and many have been displayed in large international exhibitions and on German TV shows and various forums.

Bui Duc Tam, a 30year old engineer from Vietnam is most known for his project “The Bentable”, which placed first place for best modding style at the Intel Enthusiast Day.

Corey Gregory from Australia, runs a PC modding page “Imfaceroll Gaming” on Facebook, and has several builds under his belt.

Daniel Bolognesi, nicknamed Twister, is from Italy and has won many modding competitions on Bit-Tech such as PC Domination, and Cooled PC. His most famous mod is the “Twister mod 8.0.0.D”.

Icewolf Chen from China, is the founder of CZ Union, and was the champion of Thermaltake China CaseMOD Invitational Season 2. His strengths are water loop design and pursuing technological innovation and integration. Representative works are INWIN 805 Honeycomb and LOL Mod Blood Pool.

Laurent Petipas from France, is the co-owner of Watermod. Watermod is a small company that offers various modding services as well as design solutions, their mods have been displayed at several shows and events.

Mike Petereyns from Belgium, placed in the top 3 for many modding contests around the world and earned his first worldwide win in 2015.

Peter Brands is an electrician from the Netherlands. His well known desktop PC builds include “L3p D3sk” and Cross Desk or scratch build “L3pipe”.

Kurt Schuff from the United States has done several builds by using his creativity and new techniques. Recently, he has built a mod for charity at PDXLAN 28, and the charity ended up raising $15,000 for a great cause. He got many incredibly supportive comments and tons of support from the community.

Ronnie Hara from Japan, has won several competitions including Mod of the Year in 2013, and has written for Custom PC magazine and Forbes magazine.

How to Vote and Voting Rules
A weekly voting event will be held on the Tt Community forum and prizes will be given out to members who vote. The total percentage of the score allocated to Community voting is approximately 35%, with 55% by Thermaltake, and 10% by Newegg.
