Taipei, Taiwan-August 23rd, 2019-The biggest modding competition of the year the 2019 Thermaltake CaseMOD Invitational Season 2 is back! This is the fifth annual installment of this international event. Thermaltake, a leading brand in CaseMOD community, is proud to invite twelve of the world’s excellent casemodders from Australia, Canada, China, Sweden, Sri Lanka, Italy, Japan, Philippines, Russia, Thailand, South Korea, and the United States to join this season. Contestants will use Tt Certified liquid cooling components, distro plate, WaterRAM / ToughRAM and the Toughpower PF1 ARGB 1200W Platinum Power Supply to transform the Core P5 V2 ATX Open Frame Chassis into their own creation!
This modding competition is being held on Tt Community starting from today. Thermaltake also designed the Tt MOD App for mobile users. With the app, users can follow the contest and join the weekly voting event anytime, anywhere. The Prediction Voting Event starts from August 23rd to September 20th . The Final Voting Event will start from December 24th to January 7th 2020. Everyone is welcome to register and vote on Tt Community. You will have the opportunity to win fantastic prizes from Thermaltake and the sponsors, including AMD, ASRock, Plextor, ZOTAC, TT Premium, TteSPORTS and LUXA2. Meet the Modders
Erik Bergwest, a Canadian modder, is known as ERIK BMods online. He has been modding for 5 years and has sent various mods around the world for shows such as CES and Computex Taipei.
Ken Byrnes, is from Australia and has only been Modding for around 4 years. However, he has been in love with art at a young age. His interests include Game texture art, Photo-shop, 3ds max, Airbrushing, paint texture art. Car restorations, Sign design, Art and more Art, Gaming, PC case Modding.
Sunny Sun is the winner of TT’s Best Modder China edition, and owns “Oriice” a PC MOD Studio, he loves to create builds for clients in his own time and loves modding.
Yuri Gabrielli aka Y.Gabrielli Casemod or, more simply, Y G C as people know him has been modding for a while now. He started in tuning cars and racing them, his passion slowly changed to the PC side of modding.
Toru Sekiguchi is a Japanese modder from Aichi Prefecture and graduated college as a media creator using a computer all day for work on web site contents, 3DCG animation, so he loves everything about PCs. Recent builds have been seen at COMPUTEX 2017, 2018, 2019 and Tokyo Game Show2 018.
Jesse Tiongson, the owner of Bernardo Modchop based in Davao City, Philippines was a member of DCWired, a group of pc enthusiasts, which became an influence to his modding abilities. He has displayed builds at many local shows such as Cyber Expo.
Sergey Mnev is a modder from Russia, to be more precise, from the center of Siberia, Krasnoyarsk! He is also the author of the channel TechMnev. Before that, he was the author of the site overclokers.ru, where he completed his first core ROG project.
Sanjaya Bhanu was born and raised in Sri Lanka, but is currently working in Taiwan. He has been taking apart toys and electronics since he was a child ,and when he was studying in Malaysia he learned all about PC modding.
Taeyeon Kim is from South Korea, AKA YJ MOD, he’s mainly responsible for building custom liquid cooling pcs in the company. He displayed a mod at Computex 2019 and it received a lot of attention and love.
Tim Malmborg from Sweden is also known as Timepelay. He works full time as a structural engineer making models and drawings for construction work. His modding started with modding loud speakers then evolved into PCs.
Juggapat Thonglue is a modder from Thailand, the concept design for his mods are from motorcycles, cars and engines. He has won a few local contests.
Ben Quintanilla is an emerging new face within the computer modding industry. His background in design and photography gives his builds a modern, clean approach. Inspired by architecture and industrial design, he strives to elevate his pieces combining organic elements with polished style.
How to Vote and Voting Rules
A weekly voting event will be held on the Tt Community forum and prizes will be given out to members who vote. You can choose to vote via the desktop or mobile devices. The Tt MOD App by Thermaltake is tailor-made for the mobile users to receive the latest information from the competition and join the voting event. The total percentage of the score allocated to the community voting is approximately 25%, with 25% by Thermaltake, 25% by expert modders, and 25% by sponsors.
